This issue of HepatitisWATCH News
is the second of a two-part series on HBV and liver cancer in Asian/Pacific Islanders, an important and underserved population in the US. Visionary Health is proud to be a member of the
National Task Force on Hepatitis B: Focus on Asian and Pacific Islander Americans. Its mission is to support national, state, and local efforts to prevent new HBV infections through vaccination, to identify chronically infected individuals, and to offer appropriate treatment and cancer screening. |

“Living with HBV”
is a 1-page pamphlet for patients available in
English, Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese.
The purpose of this pamphlet is to increase awareness of HBV within
these populations and describe its impact on the liver, encouraging HBV
testing, vaccinations and treatment, if necessary.

Up to
5.25 CME credits available!

The final 3 modules
of this series follows the case-study patient’s management of side
effects while keeping consideration of her substance abuse history;
discusses her end-of-treatment response and post-treatment strategies,
and concludes with her 6-month appointment to confirm whether or not an
SVR was achieved.
The REAL HIV-HCV TREATMENT program is Visionary Health’s newest cutting-edge CME-accredited program for healthcare providers. Through the use of "documentary-style" video and case-study slides, participants will follow an HIV+ patient's journey from liver biopsy to HCV treatment initiation and beyond. |
