From the desk of Editor-in-Chief, Lillian Thiemann:

Welcome to HepatitisWATCH© News, a CME-accredited program available online, via email or by fax and produced by Visionary Health Concepts (VHConcepts) and its website www.freehepatitisinfo.com. HepatitisWATCH© News is one of several programs we are producing to support the hepatitis communities of care. Our goal for this program is to “integrate a real world focus into our educational efforts to benefit patient care.” This month's topic is Part 2 of our last issue and of particular interest to me because this year Visionary Health Concepts became a member of the National Task Force on Hepatitis B: Focus on Asian and Pacific Islander Americans (www.hepbtaskforce.org). Its mission? To support national, state, and local efforts to prevent new hepatitis B infections through vaccination, to identify chronically-infected individuals, and to offer appropriate treatment and cancer screening. How “real world” can you get? We hope you benefit from this update presented in our usual succinct format and specifically designed to support your practices and busy schedules.

Sincerely,

Lillian Thiemann

President, Visionary Health Concepts
