Mark S. Sulkowski, MD is the Associate Professor of Medicine, in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Department of Medicine in Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He received his MD from Temple University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA (1992), and completed his Fellowship in Infectious Diseases (1998) at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, in Baltimore, Maryland. In addition, Dr. Sulkowski has been the principal investigator for numerous clinical trials related to the management of hepatitis C in persons with and without HIV coinfection and is a co-investigator for Johns Hopkins University AIDS Clinical Trials Unit.
Dr. Sulkowski is a member of numerous professional societies including American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, Infectious Diseases Society of America, and International AIDS Society (IAS)-USA, in which he has been a member of the Core Faculty, since 1999. He is widely published with works in Annals Internal Medicine, Journal of the American Medical Association, Journal of Infectious Diseases, and Hepatology
