Anna Poppa is a freelance writer and editor of medical and patient education who specializes in HIV/AIDS and viral hepatitis. Anna’s career in medical writing was established within the UK’s nonprofit sector, first as Editor of the Body Positive newsletter and subsequently as Editor of NAM’s AIDS Treatment Update. She has since moved into the field of Continuing Medical Education, working as a senior editor at a leading US-based medical publisher.

Anna is a British Medical Association award-winning author, and has designed and written educational programmes on HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis, cardiovascular disease and oncology for medical education agencies, as a consultant to the pharmaceutical industry, and within the nonprofit sector.
